Admissions Overview

Belmont Pines Hospital’s Admissions Department is staffed 24 hours a day to answer questions about the admissions process and to assist you with placing a child or adolescent in our care.

The admissions process begins with an initial assessment, consisting of an individual meeting between a registered nurse and the patient and family. This service is offered at no charge to determine the appropriate treatment level of care. Assessments are reviewed with a board-certified psychiatrist who will make treatment recommendations, always advising the least restrictive level of care.

Please note: Residential Treatment or Extended Care referrals will involve obtaining additional information regarding previous mental health treatment, current status and agency involvement.
