The purpose of our Acute Inpatient Care Program is to evaluate, stabilize and treat children who are experiencing a crisis situation and need immediate intervention. The program focuses on intensive psychiatric evaluation, treatment and aftercare planning using a professional, multidisciplinary team approach. Separate programming is offered for younger children, ages 5 through 11 and adolescents ages 12 through 18.
The Residential Treatment Center Program provides long-term care for male and female children and adolescents, ages 6 through 18, with severe emotional and behavioral problems.
The mission of the program is to consistently provide rehabilitation and treatment to psychologically-challenged adolescents and their families in a therapeutic setting, utilizing a model of trauma-informed care. Length of stay can range from as little as a few months up to a year.
